What has been the most challenging part of the PSA Project thus far? Blog # 3
Hi everyone it Michael Reed for a third time. Yay.
What has been the most challenging part of the PSA Project thus far?
I was always taught that everything good for you came form hard work, perserverance and is a great challenge. My goup has pretty everthing in order to do but our most challenging part of doing our PSA is scheduling . As teenagers, we have a very demanding life and we have a lot to do and the results from is the fact we can never agree on a perfect time of meeting each other the film the PSA.

How did the Group Pitch go reflect and evaluate: Blog #2
Hello everyone its Michael Reed again with my second blog post
Overall, how did your group's pitch go-- reflect and evaluate? Is your message of public/community interest? Who is your target audience and how wil yu form/style appeal to them?
My pitch is on depression and here a brief definition:Depression is a state of low mood and aversion to activity that can affect a person's thoughts, behaviour, feelings and physical well-being. Depressed people may feel sad, anxious, empty, hopeless, helpless, worthless, guilty, irritable, or restless. They may lose interest in activities that once were pleasurable, experience loss of appetite or overeating, or problems concentrating, remembering details or making decisions; and may contemplate or attempt suicide. Our pitch went really well:it was well thought through and most importantly we took a different approach then our other classmates. Yes, our message is public and community interest because it can happen to anyone; famous or common person and it has affect millions people over the years. It will have a great hook and it will not be so long because people can be easy turn off if a subject is too long.

Role of PSA In Our Media Culture: Blog # 1
Hello everyone , its Michael Reed and i have a few questions to answer
What is the role of public service announcements in our media culture? What are some topics of your group thought of for your PSA? What is your group's plan for your PSA? What role did you play is creating the plan?
First, I would like to give a definition of PSA.
A public service announcement (PSA) or public service ad is a type of advertisement featured on television, radio, print or other media. Whereas the objective of a standard advertisement is to market a product, a PSA is intended to benefit the public interest, by raising awareness of an issue, affecting public attitudes, and potentially stimulating action. The role of a PSA is to advertise or give awareness by using media. My team of thought of two very intriguing topics thats are very relevant in today's life: depression and cancer. My team decide to do a PSA on depression because it was more convenient and efficient than cancer topic. I was the ringleader because I thought odf the ideas and wanted to put them to work and do whatever it takes to make it happen with them or without them.
